LEGOs anyone?

Several people have asked about this little project I threw together so I thought I'd make a simple page to show it... around. *grin*

This is a simple, single cylinder, external combustion engine, basicly a very simplified steam engine. It runs on a 22-40 PSI compressed air supply. (I've got a small hand-pumped air supply system...)

Yes, it does have a square flywheel and I'm guessing that it makes about 1000RPMs.

UPDATE!

The engine is now a two cylinder contraption capable of self-starting. Here's new pix! They were taken by a friend at a recent Steamup with his Digital Mavica and after the pix you will also find three videos we made. Nevermind the chatter, I don't have a program for turning it off. :) (WARNING, they're 300K+ each...)
