As I said in the main page, this one was purchased mainly for it's speed. 
The Mirage is rated at 65MPH out of the box, and I can believe it.  The
motor runs at something like 30K RPMs and doesn't take much time to get
there.  Being all wheel drive you'd expect it to have no end of traction but
that's not really the case.  Punching it from a standstill will spin all
four tires on the pavement and if you're not careful you end up with an
out-of-control 15lb blunt instrument.  Trust me, this is not something to
have heading your direction.  Being my first nitro vehicle I quickly learned
that one does not just floor the gas on something of this nature and I kept
going into either donuts that would spin the tires from the wheels (I didn't
realize they needed to be glued on 'till too late), or nearby curbs.

• Two speed transmision;
• Racing slicks and five-stars;
• Lightweight aluminum half-shafts;
• Added the pull start engine;
• Lowered suspension;
• stiffer springs for improved on-road handling;
• Moved both brake disks in front of the transmision for needed room.
