If you don't already know what Descent is... you're missing quite a bit of fun! That is, of course, if you like up-side-down, leave-your-stomach-behind, turn you in-side-out type roller coasters. With Descent you have the option of control, and the peer pressure of some pretty nasty 'mechs that all want you dead. =D
Descent is a 360 degree, 3D, first-person, 0-grav, shoot-'em-up game, now with that out of the way...
With your illegally modified personal fighter craft your task is to wipe out the alien threat that is trying to overtake the PTMC's precious mines. The great thing is, the closest mine is on the Earth's moon! With your personal fighter craft you can go in any direction you chose, without the problem of gravity trying to hold you down... just be careful, some people I know can't stand to even watch this game because they get motion sickness from it.
You will need these movements against some of the things you'll be coming up against, my advise is: learn how to slide well. If you ever go into a net game you won't last long without this ability.Some cool links to find out more...
